boys

Can’t talk now – every time I try and walk away, my boys start fighting. Hang on….

Boys.

Do girls do this? If you have a little girl can you still get on with jobs about the house?

I mean properly.

Can you talk on the phone or sit at a laptop if you have girls? I know I – oh hang on…

It’s okay; I think I’ve figured out how to get on without hearing them killing each other – music.

Why I didn’t think of putting my headphones on earlier I don’t know. There’s no dispute that Florence can’t help me ignore.

Remind me again why I had kids?

Well, I can't help you with the kid thing, but I do like Florence & The Machine. ;-) I can't help you with the girl thing, either, as I have no sisters or nieces. What I can tell you, though, is that I despise working with large groups of women. They are catty, emotional, manipulative, etc. when they get in large groups. You know they learned this as kids....

I have a boy and a girl. If you separate them they can be as quiet as church mice. Put them together and all hell breaks lose. They are either racing about laughing hysterically or fighting like cats and dogs. They seem to make a lot of noise. LOL

I believe the dispute of girls vs boys can be best put into an analogy of cats vs dogs:

For instance, my dog is wild, reckless, and stomps his way to every upcoming catastrophe that he's about to create. I know when the bad things are coming. My cat, on the other hand, is a cerebral and sneaky kind of jerk. I never know when I'm going to walk into a room to him having peed on a chewed up power chord.
