The big day is coming...

There is much excitement building up in chez Glen, because tomorrow should hopefully hear the pitta patter of eight tiny little feet.

Yes, we are expecting a new addition to the family.

Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy

“You know Javier, poets say that in the spring a young man’s thoughts turn to love, but I think they’re wrong.”

“I’m told the people of New York always talk with their mouthful”

“Sorry – what?”

How to make decisions like a man

What school should my kids go to?

What jabs should they have?

How on earth should we discipline them?

If only there was a way for a man to decide these things…

Facebook and Twitter

I am the worst Twitterer and Facebooker you’ve ever met, most probably.

I do try – I’m just not very good at it.

That aside I’m having a little shake up here and would like to invite you all to help make me better at it.

So what did I get up to last weekend?

So, finally I have a chance to talk about what I got up to at the weekend! Well…

We took the boys to visit their future kittens for one thing. This was very exciting, because as the pictures show - they are VERY cute.

Who says all husbands are useless?

Just exactly why is it wives think their husbands are so useless anyway?

I’ve no idea, but I know a man who has the answer…

The games room

Flash Fiction Friday – on a Tuesday, yes I know. I really do, but it’s got to be posted by tomorrow and I already have something that I want to post scheduled…

Anyway, this week sees another return for the hapless god of the sea, still trapped in Oxford. He was first seen in ‘Poseidon’s Hell’, and last in ‘Holding on’.

Changing the dream

They say, women, they will come and they will go,
When the rain washes you clean, you’ll know.

And I think you’ll find that the Mac went on to say that what you should do next is pop over to RBU, and read about how I had to change my dream.

Because sometimes the dream is wrong.

It's photo time..

I thought that it was time to break my own rule and finally post up a couple of photos of Daniel & Jamie.

These two photos somehow manage to capture them perfectly.

I just wish I took them.

I didn’t.

Full credit goes to my very clever wife and her somewhat smart phone.

Can team building ever be a good thing?

What do you get if you take a double decker bus load of engineers, IT specialists, account managers and salespeople and push them out into the middle of Peckham with a paint brush in their hands?

I’m still too upset about my hair to post anything.

Sorry.

Silver Fox my backside

Where the Hell did that come from?

I am really fed up now; I’ve really properly had enough with this whole growing old milarky. Life has just insisted on throwing yet another big pile of crap at me.

The end of the holidays are nigh...

We made it!

We managed to survive 7 weeks of the kids being at home. There are now just two days left of the school summer holidays are left and we are, more or less, still functioning as a family.

Neither of my boys has been put up for adoption.

Neither of my boys are in jail.

Neither of the adults left home to live as a hermit in Edinburgh.
